Yuletide Treasure the Musical |
Meet the Eames family. Nine years ago their father adopted Tré, an African-American at risk youth that caused them to disown him. Now their father who has just passed away has summoned this disgruntled clan for the reading of his will. In order to acquire the 1.8billion dollar Eames' fortune they must find father's 'most precious possession'. But... there's a catch! If they don't find the treasure by 12:00 a.m. Christmas morning the entire fortune goes to their adopted brother. Set in St.Louis, Missouri, this modern day narrative weaves the quest for sonship with the whimsical signature you've come to love from the talented playwright and author RachelA.Moore. This production was performed on the Restoration Center stage December 4-13,2005 and worked in association with Heartland For Children and Children Of Promise to create awareness of adoption and help over 90 children who are currently waiting to be adopted in the Heartland area.
